12 Days Sustainable Tourism in Kenya Itinerary/ affordable safari tour package

Day One:

Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport meet our representative  who will transfer you to Ibis Nairobi Westland for dinner & overnight.

Meals Plan: Breakfast & Dinner Included

Day Two: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, your driver/guide will pick you up by 0730 hours and you proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve. This is the greatest wildlife spectacle in the world! Greater Mara covers an area of 8000 km sq, a vast fertile wilderness. Due of the abundance of grazing and vegetation, the Mara has dense populations of wildlife, both the plains game, Thompson’s gazelle, zebra, giraffe, topi, wildebeest, impala …, and therefore plentiful predators. Lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight Mara Sopa lodge.

All meal included.

 Day Three: Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast you will have a full day game drive with a picnic lunches. You shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve for unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Drive to Mara River you may see  hippos, crocodiles and wildebeest migration or you can have 2 game drives per day, one in the morning and the other one in the late afternoon from 1530 hours to1830 hours. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge /Similar Eco friendly lodge.

NB: The wildebeest migration starts from July to October depending with the rainfall in Masai Mara

Day Four: Masai Mara National Reserve- Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.

Short enroute game drive to Nakuru Sopa Lodge for lunch. Lunch and the lodge. Afternoon game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park in search for animals, such us rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find may white rhino at the southern end.  Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day Five: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Bogoria Resort and Spa

After breakfast depart Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge with en-route game drive to Lake Bogoria National Reserve. Lunch at Lake Bogoria Resort and spa in a Executive room. Lunch at the Resort.

The lake Bogoria National Reserve is alkaline, feeding blue-green algae which in turns feed flamingoes. At times the number of flamingoes are many.

Afternoon game drive at Lake Bogoria National Reserve and then go back to Lake Bogoia

Resort and spa for dinner and overnight,

 Day Six: Lake Bogoria National Reserve – Naivasha Overnight

After breakfast, check out of the Resort and proceed to Naivasha. Have an early lunch. After that go for  boat riding   and nature walk at crescent Island. dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Resort and Spa.

Day Seven: Naivasha –Nairobi Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Centre.

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving at good time to visit Elephant Orphanage by 11:00 hours. You will also  visit Giraffe Centre. Lunch at Nairobi Restaurant.

Daphne Sheildreck:

It is a Kenya wildlife conservation charity founded in 1977 in the memory of David Sheldrich by his wife widow Daphane Sheldrick. It’s an orphanage whereby elephant calves and Rhinos are rehabilitates and later they release them back into the wild when they are ready. It worth visiting and see humanitarian care the wildlife.

Giraffe Centre:

The giraffe Centre is a sanctuary for the rare Rottchilds giraffe. Here one can observe, see hand feed or even kiss the giraffe from a raised circular wooden structure. Its quite an experience fun day and a good place to get the close up photos that eluded you on safari.

Dinner and overnight at Ibis Nairobi Westland

Day Eight:  Nairobi – Amboseli National Park.

After breakfast, your driver /guide will pick you up and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli, meaning salty dust is scenic with the majestic snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro towering the backdrop. Elephant herds here are plentiful, with other game including lion and plains herds. lunch at the lodge . Game drives at Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge

Day Nine: Amboseli National Park.

Early morning wake up call to view Kilimanjaro (depending with the weather) breakfast at the lodge . Game drive at  Amboseli National Park.  Lunch at the lodge. After noon at your leisure. Late evening game drive to search for the unseen wild. Dinner and overnight Oltukai Lodge

Day Ten: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park.

After breakfast, depart  for Tsavo West National Park for more game viewing with a visit to Mzima springs where Hippos, crocodiles, different species of fish can be seen in crystalline clear water and lots of different species of birds. Pay a visit to the Shetani lava caves (nature walk). Return to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day Eleven: Tsavo West National Park-Tsavo East

After breakfast, depart  for Tsavo East  National Park. Lunch at  Ashnil Aruba. Afternoon game drive at the park. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded. . Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day Twelve:Tsavo East – Nairobi/Mombasa

After breakfast depart Ashnil Aruba and drive back to Nairobi, lunch at city restaurant and then transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight to the next destination.  or you can proceed to Mombasa for beach holiday.

Depending with your  flight detail, you can have a day room service to refresh and later transfer to the Airport.
