lake nakuru national park lies in the volcano strewn Rift Valley.

It is one of the chains of the 8 lakes which stretch the length of Kenya from Tanzania to Ethiopia.

The 160Kms drive from Nairobi passes through highland farms before descending through an escarpment into the dramatic landscape of the Rift Valley. Lunch is taken at a lodge in the park and is followed by and extensive tour of the Lake Nakuru National Park | Day Trip

On the return journey to Nairobi a stop is made at Lake Naivasha where tea is served among the fever trees and where bird-watchers will be delighted in the fantastic array of bird-life.

NAKURU DAY TRIP ITINERARY

0600hrs: Pick-up at location of your choice.
0700hrs: Depart Nairobi for Nakuru National park
1000hrs: Arrive at the Nakuru National park and proceed for a 2hr game drive.
1230hrs: Enjoy lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge
1430hrs: game drive en-route to Nakuru town
1830hrs: Arrive in Nairobi and be dropped off at a location of your choice within the city.
