This is a safaris whereby you will visit the various parks such us Samburu, Sweetwaters, Aberdares, Nakuru, Mara,
Amboseli , Tsavo West East Safari.
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through rich farmlands on the shoulders of Mt. Kenya to the rugged semi-desert of Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in a micro-bus with pop up roof. The Park is blessed with species rarely found elsewhere like the liver red reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Long neck Gerenuk, Blue flanked Somali Ostrich, Vulturine Guinea Fowl and also elephants, Leopards in the trees, African Buffalo, Cheetah, Braving Lions in the grass. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge/similar lodge.
Day 2 : Samburu
Another day to savor the beauty of the Reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives. Optional visit to the Samburu Villages. All meals and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge/similar lodge.
Day 3: Sweetwaters Game Reserve and Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Breakfast at Lodge and depart for Sweetwater’s Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Sweetwater’s is in the slopes of Mt. Kenya and overlooks a floodlit waterhole offering visitors an unforgettable opportunity to view and shoot pictures of animals in their natural habitat.
Optional walking safari escorted by a knowledgeable Ranger. Bird-walks, Camel safaris, Chimpanzee observed from a Boat on the Ewaso Nyiro River which supports other wild game like Elephants, Buffalo, Baboon, Eland, Silver-backed Jackals, Ostrich, Rhino among others. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwater’s Tented Camp.
Day 4: the Ark lodge
Early morning game viewing in Sweetwater’s, Breakfast and depart for The Ark Lodge in the Aberdares National Park arriving in time for lunch at aberdares Country Club . After lunch transfer to the Ark Lodge for floodlit game viewing. Contains a variety of wild game among them Elephants, Rhino, Leopard, Bushbuck, Elusive Bongo and Giant Forest Hog. Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.
Day 5 : Lake Nakuru National Park
Early morning wake up call and refreshes up, breakfast at the Ark Lodge. After breakfast you proceed to Lake Nakuru still exploring the dramatic Rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch en-route game drive to the lodge for lunch. A short rest after lunch, then you go for the afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the gem in the necklace of the Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for it’s great masses of pink flamingos. Opportunity to see millions of flamingos besides thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild-game like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo, Warthog, Hippo etc. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill lodge.
Day 6 : Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Morning game viewing in Lake Nakuru ,Breakfast and depart crossing the Loita Plains and viewing sceneries en-route, See red clad spear wielding Masai warriors tending their multi-colored herds among the presence of wild game giving a blind eye to the presence of big predators, A single moran can cross the Mara Game Reserve only holding a spear and a stick on the other hand! arrive Mara for Lunch. Afternoon game drive inside the Reserve which is the Kenya’s best and most scenic. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Lodge/similar Lodge.
Day 7: Maasai Mara
Full day at mara National Reserve with picnic lunch which has a permanent supply of water thus harbor a thriving population of wild game. All the “Big Five” and lots of gazelles, Topi, warthogs, Cheetah, Hyenas and even the rare Rhino might come out of the thicket for you. Extend your drive to the Hippo pool where they submerge at the approach of a vehicle only to surface seconds later to short and gamble their displeasure, Crocodiles sunbathe on the River banks mouths agape. Optional visit to the Maasai villages for an insight to their culture. All meals and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Lodge/similar Lodge.
Day 8: Maasai Mara.
Another full day in Masai Mara to go searching for any wild-game you might have missed previously. Morning and afternoon game drives.Visit Masai boma to learn the way Masai Live which is optional at an extra cost. Meals and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Lodge/similar Lodge.
Optional Balloon Safari at Mara National Reserve with an extra cost.
Day 9: Nairobi
Early breakfast and depart Mara Sarova Tented lodge with short en-route game drive to Nairobi. Upon arrival go for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. And after lunch transfer to Sarova Panafric hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive to Amboseli at the foot of the impressive snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch with game viewing to the Lodge. Afternoon game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge.
Day 11 : Amboseli
Full day to explore and see the beauty of this Park searching for elephants, buffalo, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, jackal, zebra and the masai giraffe. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge.
Day 12: Tsavo West National Park.
After breakfast depart for Tsavo West via Chyulu hills and shaitani lava flows and Mzima springs where from an underwater observation tank you can see submerged Hippo walking the floor of the springs. Tsavo hosts the “Big Five” and plenty of other wild game. Dinner and overnight at kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 13 : Tsavo East National Park
Depart Tsavo West after breakfast and cross over to Tsavo East which is also well know for massive herds of elephants which are usually covered in red dust, the man-eaters of Tsavo-lions are seen and plenty of wild-game. Meals and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge.
Day 14 : Nairobi
Early morning game drive, Return to lodge for breakfast and depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon and drop off at the hotel or transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight to the next destination.
