Day 1: The Ark Lodge; 7 Days Aberdares, Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara | Lodge Adventure
After breakfast depart Nairobi for Aberdare’s National Park, lunch at Aberdare’s Country Club which is the base hotel for The Ark Lodge. After lunch the hotel transport you to The Ark Lodge. Elephants dominantly rule the waterholes and salt licks. There are other animals which also come to drink water such as lions and hyenas; they have to contend with elephants seeing them off at great speed. Some animals such as Leopards are shy and mostly seen und as Leopards are shy and mostly seen under the night-time floodlight. Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.
Day 2:
After breakfast depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands, cross the Equator and proceed to Samburu National Reserve which is located in a rugged semi desert region.
Lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge. Afternoon game drives.
Samburu Game Reserve is home to some of the rare wildlife species including the Beisa oryx, Reticule Giraffes, Masai Ostrich and the Gravy’s zebras. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 3:7 Days Aberdares, Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara | Lodge Adventure
After breakfast, morning game drive. Lunch at the Samburu Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Optional: You can visit local Samburu village. The Samburu people are close relatives of the Masai tribes men and share a lot of similarities as both depend on livestock for livelihood with nomadic lifestyles. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.
Day 4:
After breakfast depart Samburu Sopa Lodge for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley passing through the arid lands and the highlands of Kenya. En-route game drive to Lake Nakuru Lodge lodge/a similar Lodge/tented Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive .The Lake Nakuru National Park, commonly referred to as the pink lake is also home to a huge colony of flamingo and the endangered black Rhino. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge/similar Lodge/Tented Luxury Camp.
Day 5:7 Days Aberdares, Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara | Lodge Adventure
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru Lodge for Masai Mara National Reserve, Lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Masai Mara is located in the Great Rift Valley primary on the open grasslands. The reserve is the Jewel of Kenya Wildlife areas. After lunch proceed for a game drive in search of Rhino, black Manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo and others plains games. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6:
This day is spent game viewing across the rich three studded grassland and rolling Hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great leads of plains game that abound in plenty.
An optional: Visit the Masai village for a Cultural learning experience or Balloon safari over the plains of Masai Mara to enjoy the vista. On landing you will be treated to a heart full champagne breakfast in the bush. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 7:
After breakfast, depart Mara National Reserve for Nairobi, lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and after lunch transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight to the next destination.
Safari cost is per person sharing in open up safari minivan and in a double/twin room/ tent.
