13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

Day 1: 13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

Samburu, Mount Kenya Safari Club, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Amboseli &  Tsavo Safari Package

Day 1:

Early morning arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, to be met by your driver/guide and transfer via Nairobi to Aberdares Country Club  the base hotel of The Ark Lodge  for lunch.

After lunch by 1430 hours the hotel transport you to Aberdare’s National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Ark Lodge.

Day 2:

Early morning after breakfast depart The Ark Lodge for Aberdares Country Club, check out.

We drive down to dry scrublands of Northern Kenya and head towards Samburu National Reserve.
The permanent water and forest shade on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River attract plentiful wildlife from the region including elephant, cheetah, giraffe, oryx, vervet monkeys, zebra, and crocodiles. Leopards are usually spotted. This is one of the pleasantest parks in Kenya and is not too crowded. Arriving in time for lunch, and enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge.

Day 3: 13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

After breakfast, morning game drive. Lunch at the Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar lodge Afternoon game drive.
Optional: You can visit local Samburu village for cultural learning. The Samburu people are close relatives of the Masai tribes men and share a lot of similarities as both depend on livestock for livelihood with nomadic lifestyles. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 4:

After breakfast, depart Samburu Sopa Lodge and head back towards Nanyuki to spend relaxing and luxurious day at the Mount Kenya Safari Club, one of the world’s most exclusive clubs. Idle around the pool or stroll in the vast gardens. Dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Day 5:

Depart Mount Kenya Safari Club for L. Nakuru National Park arriving at 1230 hours approx (Masai: en-akuro, meaning “swirling dust”) being one of the seven lakes in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingo population.
The alkaline constitution of Lake Nakuru supports a vast flowering of the blue-green algae and diatoms on which flamingos live. So rich are the waters that the birds assemble there in there millions. There is a wide variety of wildlife found in this park. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge .Afternoon game drive is taken from 1530 hours to 1830 hours. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 6:13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

After breakfast by 08:30 hours morning game drive -lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. After lunch depart Lake Nakuru Lodge for Lake Naivasha which is undoubtedly one of Kenya’s most beautiful fresh lakes and one of the highest at 1,880 above the sea level.

Its papyrus-fringed shores are home to a plethora of birds (over 400 recorded species) and wildlife. The lake’s name meaning ‘rippling or rough waters derived from the Masai word E-na-iposha which the settlers pronounced Naivasha.
Late afternoon at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at L. Naivasha Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge/

Day 7:

Depart Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge after breakfast for the incomparable Masai Mara National Reserve the world’s finest game reserve.

Situated at the northern most tip of the vast Serengeti eco-system, the Masai Mara offers the most spectacular game viewing of any park in East Africa.

The Mara covering 700 square miles is the Africa of movies and photographs consisting of large open grasslands dotted with acacia trees. Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Mara Sopa Lodge is situated after a few kms from the Sekenani gate. A late afternoon game drive to see the varied wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp

Day 8:

Early morning game drive in Masai Mara followed by breakfast. After breakfast relax at your leisure. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive is taken to search for wild animal not as yet seen!
Or you may choose to have a full day game viewing with a picnic lunch. This will enable you to visit Mara River. Please liaise with your driver for this. If you choose this option you will have to liaise with the reception so that they can inform the kitchen to prepare the lunches for you.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 9:13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

Early morning after breakfast we  will check out of Mara Sopa Lodge at 0730 hours and depart for Nairobi. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant or another city Restaurant. After lunch you transfer to Sarova Panafric Hotel .Dinner and overnight at Sarova Panafric Hotel.

Day 10:

After breakfast,  we will depart Sarova Panafric Hotel at and head south to Amboseli National Park, justly famous for its superb views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The 1259 square miles of the park encompass five main wildlife habitats: Open plains, extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodlands, rocky lava strewn thorn-bush country, swamps, and marshes and at the Western end of the park, the massive Oldonyo Orok rising to over 8300 feet. All of this scenery is dominated by the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, with its permanent snows, rising 19342 feet above sea level. Lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge Afternoon game driven. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/Similar Lodge/Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 11:13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

Early morning game drive (before breakfast). After breakfast you depart Amboseli Serena Lodge by 09:00 hours for Tsavo National Park. The combined area of Tsavo East and West makes this one the world’s largest game sanctuary. Of many natural wonders Mzima Springs is of outstanding interest, a marvellous eruption of underground waters arising in the Chyulu Hills reaching the surface to form crystal clear pools. This source is the main water supply for the coastal of Mombasa.
The wildlife in this park includes elephants and lions some perhaps of the famous “Man-eaters of Tsavo”. Also another unusual and spectacular sight is Shetani lava flows emerging from the Chyulu Hills. A sight to be seen!
All meals and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 12:

We will spend the entire day in this park with early morning game drive (before breakfast). After breakfast relax or take well-deserved snooze before taking a hearty lunch. A late afternoon game drive is taken to search for wild animal not as yet seen! Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 13:13 Days Kenya Safari Adventure

After breakfast, we will depart Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for Nairobi. Lunch at a city restaurant and after lunch transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for a flight to the next destination.

Cost includes:

Airport transfer from/to, transportation in a seven seaters safari van/cruiser, full board accommodation while on safari, bed and breakfast at a city Hotel, extra lunches/dinners as per the itinerary, game drives, park fees, all government taxes, all service charges, and a full time English speaking safari guide.
Price does not includes:

Items of personal nature, tips, visas, drinks, travel insurance and any other services which is not mentioned above.
